Things really aren't that bad!!

So things have finally been getting easier, the busier I stay! I have been SO SO blessed with some new friends, who've shown me more love and support than most of my old one's! Maybe because my old friends aren't military and don't really understand, although i'm not even sure they care to try to understand! I can't even explain the feeling of absolute complete happiness i've felt over the last few days..truly truly just BLESSED! I have the most amazing fiance out serving our country, and I'm lucky that he's chosen me to be his rock here at home! It's crazy and completely unexplainable how much I love that man! My friends are there for me day and night, whatever I need, no questions asked! Instead of sitting here wallowing about him being gone, i've chosen to stay busy and given myself certain goals! I wanna be in tip top shape, I wanna get P's room in order and I wanna make our apartment feel like our home(for now, cuz i'd love to leave VA). It's crazy, but it seems as if i'm creating my own military family, some of which are more of a family to me than part of my own! I can't keep focusing on the negative's in life, when I have so much going for me and SO much to look forward too! I love who I am and i'm growing in myself and in God each and everyday. I love my friends, my family, my fiance, and my very soon-to-be stepson!! They love me for me and I love them for them! I'm kicking this deployments butt and am happy about it if I do say so myself!! I've gotten rid of all the negativity and it's amazing how much positive energy there is around me now!! So for now..stay positive people...wake up everyday and remember what you have and how much better you may have it than some! Remember the things you're thankful and don't focus on or bring any negativity in to your lives!!! I'm living proof that things get better and the world isn't as dark as some people see it! I have so many people there for me and i'll be there for you if any of you need me!!

Michael Nichols i'm so very proud of you for all that you do for our country and of course our little family! I can't wait to be on that pier waiting for you...I LOVE YOU!!!
