Halfway (woo-hoo), well for everyone else!

So this week went pretty well....quick, a tiny bit of drama, and a few headaches, but well! Being able to talk to Michael every single day has been amazing, but then when he has to go for the night, or morning since he's on nights I get sad because I know I won't talk to him for 12 hours. Lame, I know! Whatever, hearing how much he misses both, Patrick and I, makes me very happy! Can't wait to get married...officially less than 1 year away!! <3 I hope that his family aren't royal douches about it and support him in every decision he makes for himself and for Patrick. Last night was the USS Harry S. Truman halfway party and it was fun! Melissa and I got tickets last minute and so of course we HAD to go! Now granted, we were the only ones wearing jeans it seemed, but no one noticed, and no one cared! I was able to send a video message to him as well as a pic with a message to him! It's crazy that every other spouse was at their "halfway" mark, but for me Mike just left 3 weeks ago! So his homecoming seems so far, but it's really pretty close :) Can't wait! It's been nice getting to know some new friends while he's gone and staying busy! I know he's working hard doing what he has to do, and i'm working just as hard to stay strong here at home! Going to Becca's housewarming tonight so that should be fun, although I'm not sure anyone will be there that I don't already know! At least i'm kicking this deployment's ass instead of letting it kick mine!
