Well da.da.da.....Mike and I decided to make our unofficial engagement official,lol...the only reason that I say unofficial is because there is no ring! We've talked about it for the last 6 weeks or so, but of course my boyfriend is the sweetest man ever, and would have rathered saved up and bought me a nice ring, rather than something he just went and picked up! Hell, i'd rather marry him and have no ring, then to not marry him at all. No doubt in my mind, he is the love of my life and we will have many years together and tons of babies, ok probably only one (two if i'm lucky). My parent's know and his parent's know(whether his choose to believe it or not!) Can't wait til Patrick is home and he can be included as well. I of course want him included in as much as possible! This way I can get my hopeful wedding date of 09/10/11, if not then 11/11/11! Now that it's out, my mind is already racing about what, where, and how I want things. I plan to start looking but no major plans til this deployment is over!
Now on to the "do-it-yourself" stuff! Maybe not a project, but when it comes to anything i'd rather pay someone to do something than do it myself...even folding laundry and washing cars. Today, however my roomatte Laura and I decided to detail our cars together, all while enlisting the help of 4 children under 10....NOT a wise idea! After 2 hours of seeming like we got no where, we basically half-assed the job and just dealt with it! Cute that the kids wanted to help, but totally made things hell! Next time- Auto Spa here I come!!! Today was the first day since deployment day that I haven't cried, and hopefully I didn't just jinx myself. I realize that even though a lot is going on in my life right now, and i'm stuck dealing with it alone...nothing beats knowing that Michael WILL come home to me soon!
